Dar es Salaam: President Samia Suluhu Hassan has reaffirmed her commitment to national unity and democratic maturity after holding high-level consultations with candidates from the 2025 General Election, in a move widely seen as strengthening Tanzania’s political stability.
The meeting, held at State House on March 31, 2026, brought together leaders from 16 political parties, marking a rare and inclusive platform for dialogue on the country’s political climate and development priorities. The engagement was initiated at the request of the candidates, highlighting growing trust in the President’s leadership.
