His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, is expected to arrive in the country tomorrow, Saturday, 07th February, 2026, for a one-day working visit.
During his visit, President Museveni will hold bilateral talks with his host, Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania.
The discussions will focus on further strengthening diplomatic relations and economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as addressing key regional and international issues of mutual interest. Among the priority areas to be discussed is the energy sector, particularly the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Project, which is expected to generate significant benefits for both countries and the wider region.
The two Presidents will also jointly brief the media on the outcomes of their discussions. The visit takes place at a time when both nations continue to enhance their cooperation across various sectors, including trade, security, and infrastructure development.
President Museveni will depart the country following the conclusion of his official programme.
